Double Standards...

                                                       Secrets website
Whilst waiting for the 168 bus (which was taking ages!) I couldn’t help but notice Secrets. A table dancing bar just opposite the bus stop I was at. I have never seen people...Or in this case, girls, run into their work place so fast! One minute they were there, the next, they were gone! I was curious to know (or maybe just nosy) as to why these girls have decided to take up table dancing as a job. Was it the thrill they get from constant male attention? Or maybe the money is just too good to turn down. It did cross my mind that maybe some of these girls were financial desperate so for them, they may have felt they had no choice..? If these girls are happy doing what they do and enjoy it...Who are we to judge? The only thing that doesn’t sit well with me is if any of the girls are forced into it. Now that’s what makes my blood boil!

To the guys that talk about girls in a disrespectful way, whether you’re talking about how ‘easy’ you found a girl or how ‘degrading’ you think it is for them to be a pole dancer or table dancer. Firstly, maybe the girl was being ‘easy’ because she was playing you at your own game and surely, it makes you ‘easy’ too? And as far as pole dancers and strippers are concerned, however ‘degrading’ you may find their job, it doesn’t stop you from paying them a little visit, so doesn’t that make you just as ‘bad..?’

The bus finally arrived. My favorite place to stand when there are no seats is right next to the conductor where I am able to see out of the front window. I feel like I’m playing one of those driving  games on the play station!

From the moment I got on the bus to the moment I got off, I suddenly turned into what I can only describe as the bus’s personal assistant! “Could you pass me my trolly.” “Could you pass me the newspaper miss.” I guess I didn’t mind as these two were elderly and rather cute. But, what I did mind was when a guy that was standing right next to me, asked me to “get the bell.” His arms are longer than my whole body and he’s asking me to “get the bell!” Is he taking the piss..Without even saying please!? I wouldn’t have minded if he had said please! Damn it, I wish I didn’t to teach him a lesson but I was also getting off the bus so had to ring it for myself! Which probably made him think I was doing it for him!
